5 Pieces Perfect for Penn Partying
When it comes to partying at Penn it is important to prioritize both comfort and cuteness. One thing I’ve learned is that no matter what freezing weather conditions take over the day, the party goes on! So, I’ve compiled a list of items you can add to your Penn Party Collection– perfect for cold darties and reusable for different themes from all-white Apres Ski to black outs to St. Patty’s.
1. Fingerless Gloves
Fingerless gloves are perfect for cold darties as they keep you warm and leave your fingers available to send texts and take pics. White fingerless gloves are especially cute as there tend to be a number of white-out darties at Penn. White is also a neutral color that can be worn with green for a significantly cold St. Paddys or reworn with blue and red for HOCO weekend.
2. Sheer Tights
Although sheer tights may seem like an obvious and functional choice for keeping warm, it is important to have a few fun colorful and patterned pairs ready to go in your closet from the start of the year as you never know which night could happen to be a cold 40 degrees instead of a warm 40. They also come especially handy on a cold walk to a late night. Sheer tights are reusable for most outfits as long as you make sure not to rip them!
3. Fun Glasses
Fun glasses can dress up any outfit for any occasion whether it's a themed darty or a late night. They also make you look like a pro-partier who knows how to dress and have a good time. This pack includes a variety of colors perfect for themed events.
4. Boas
Boas are another fun accessory to dress up any outfit for a fun night or day out. They are also easy to transition from a cute scarf to a little warmth on your arms when the wind starts to pick up a little too much. My Halloween boa was my saving grace when it came to feeling a little warmth in my arms.
5. Corset Tops
Corset tops are a perfect chill top for almost any event. Paired with a pair of blue jeans they work great for really any late night and paired with a fun boa or bucket hat or pair of funky glasses, they are easily adaptable to go with most costumes!
